Dark Sky Park

We enjoyed a really interesting talk last night given by Steve Owens the Galloway Forest Dark Sky Park Development Officer at Glentrool, followed by some great stargazing afterwards. Even though the moon was out we still managed to see, Orion, Leo the Lion and Seven Sisters just before the cloud and snow came in!

The next Dark Sky Park event will again be at:
Glentrool Primary School
7pm on Saturday 12th March.
The latest news from around the universe with Dr Emily Baldwin.

We hope you can make.

Give our new Stargazing pod casts a go which are online now www.forestry.gov.uk/darkskygalloway
